Description

Self-Extinguishing PMI Structural Foam
Rifeng FR is a high-performance, closed-cell rigid foam based on Polymethacrylimide (PMI) polymer, completely free of CFC's. It features a Fine Cell Size. Rifeng FR is Self-extinguishing and engineered specifically for high-safety applications in rail vehicles, watercraft, and the aerospace industry.


Processing and Production
Rifeng FR maintains excellent dimensional stability during high-temperature curing processes, withstanding temperatures up to 180°C and pressures up to 0.7 MPa (dependent upon density). It is highly compatible with advanced manufacturing methods, including autoclave, vacuum bag, RTM, VARTM, VARI, and HP-RTM.


Premium Weight Saving and Dielectric Control
Featuring a Fine Cell Size structure, Rifeng FR ensures the lowest resin uptake at the interface. This eliminates unnecessary dead weight and optimizes electromagnetic transparency, making it suitable for specialized radomes and antennas that also require flame retardancy.


Thermoforming and Precision Machining
